Hugo Folgado
Assistant Professor at the University of Évora
Biography
Hugo Folgado is an Assistant Professor at the University of Évora (Portugal) and a researcher at the CreativeLab, an investigation group of CIDESD – Research Center in Sports Sciences, Health and Human Development – focusing the topics of collective behaviour and creativity in Team Sports.
Hugo started working in football during his undergraduate studies, gaining experience in different settings such as youth players’ development, performance analysis and training. Academically, he enrolled and completed a MSc in Team Sports and a PhD in Sports Sciences.
Currently, beyond his educational and research tasks, he contributes to several football coach education courses and cooperates with local football clubs.
