Biography

Ana Bispo Ramires has graduated in Psychology from ISPA, in the Clinical area, obtaining the Master degree in Sports Psychology from the University of Minho and has the specialties of Clinical Psychology and health, Organizational Psychology and also the advanced specialty of Sports Psychology (recognised by the Order of Portuguese Psychologists – member 8488).

She was an University Assistant at ISPA for 13 years, where she taught the subjects of Methods and Techniques of Research, Emotional Skills Training and Sports and Performance Psychology (Masters’s degree). In this same institution, she was a professor and one of the responsibles for organizing and structuring the plan of studies and programmatic contents of the postgraduate courses in Sports Psychology and Physical Activity and in Leadership Training and Teams Development.

Still in this context, she is guest lecturer in the post-graduation in Nursing in Sports, since September 2019, by the Portuguese Catholic University (UCP).

She is the author of articles and chapters of national and international books, in the area of sports and performance psychology, being responsible for a weekly opinion column, on the site “Tribuna Expresso”.

At the end of 2017, was invited to integrate the Medical Direction of the Olympic Committee of Portugal, in the specialty of Clinical and Sport Psychology.

With over 20 years of career, she has accumulated experiences as distinct as:

Key-Speaker, Trainer and Consultant, with thousands of hours of work developed with more than 18000 people, in companies as different as: POPULAR Bank, Renault, PT, BP Portugal, GALP, Repsol, Tranquility, EDP, Emel, Accenture, Compta, Nobre, Havilogistics, BES, MetLife, Aveleda, Alma lusa Hotels, among others;

Sports/Performance Psychology, in the scope of the most varied activities of high performance (physicians, military, top managers, artists, dancers, choreographers athletes, coaches, referees…), highlighting the work with coaches and professional football athletes, quoting as an example, the collaboration with National Coach Luiz Filipe Scolari, the well-know goalkeeper Rui Patricio and the football department of SLB, for almost 10 years (all from the public domain).

Clinical Psychologist, always accompanying hers clients from a perspective of optimizing their quality of life, well-being and life project.

Currently is one of the responsible for a multidisciplinary intervention space, in the areas of performance optimization and wellbeing named “Human Performance & Wellbeing” (hpw.pt) in Lisbon.
