Pedro Almeida

Pedro Almeida is a Professor and a Performance Consultant (sport, performing arts, business leaders).

Pedro is currently the coordinator of the psychology department of Sport Lisboa e Benfica.

He also works as Assistant Professor at ISPA, a portuguese university institute, since 1991. Currently he is director and professor at the Post Graduate in Psychology of Sport and coordinator of Social Psychology area and Master of Organizational Psychology. Pedro is also a member of the “Promoting Human Potential” Research Group.

At Benfica, he structured a department that currently has five professionals that attend athletes from the youth teams to the professional teams, as well as other modalities of the club. He works at the club since 1994, therefore, he counts with several years of experience and he had a special role in the titles recently won by Benfica.
